Our Sacha Inchi Protein Powder is made of seeds ethically sourced from a family farm located in the depths of the Amazon Rainforest, fours hours from the closest city. This farm is working to regrow 200 acres of primary rainforest by creating a polycultural ecosystem. This means using the land to produce a variety of different plants, as opposed to one singular crop. The crop variety increases the diversity of microbes in the soil, which helps repair and regenerate the land. This approach is in direct opposition to cattle grazing, mining, drilling and monoculture, which have become all-too-common in the Amazon. Sacha Inchi is helping to save the coral reef of the land: the Great Amazon!
