Imlak’esh Organics was born in Santa Barbara and nurtured by its caring community. Like a village child who is raised by many different people, Imlak’esh is shaped by many different local influences.

The region’s sweeping mountain ranges and gorgeous beaches remind us of the earth’s incredible beauty. It inspires us to make sustainable choices and create an eco-conscious business model. Each decision we make -- from our earth-friendly packaging to our small farm sourcing -- is carefully made to support the earth’s regeneration. We are here to support the land and all its stewards.
The Center of Education & Inspiration
UC Santa Barbara holds a special place in our heart. It’s where founders Tucker and Philip, along with many of the Imlak’esh crew, first met. Also, many of our kitchen, events, and demo crew are current UCSB students. We maintain a vibrant presence at UCSB and Isla Vista, fueling students with brain-boosting superfoods throughout their studies.
The Conscious City by the Sea
Three years ago, the town and its support for localism welcomed our brand new company with open arms. As a superfood start-up, we sold our first products at a Pop-Up Local Artisan Market. Soon, local grocers and specialty stores began carrying our products, and Santa Barbara hubs like Backyard Bowls and Yoga Soup followed suit.
