Cacao will leave your mind and body smiling, energized, and ready to live vibrantly.

Cacao Benefits

Cacao contains one of the highest antioxidant contents of any food on the planet, in addition to the essential minerals magnesium and iron. It also has energizing properties which come from theobromine compounds, an alkaloid similar to caffeine that can increase alertness and energy. Cacao is associated with elevated mood and blissfulness because of its natural compounds like anandamide, (nicknamed ‘the bliss chemical’) which promote heightened sensitivity and feelings of euphoria.1

It also contains the essential amino acid tryptophan: a precursor for serotonin, which is the neurotransmitter responsible for feelings of happiness! Cacao has also been linked to increased cardiovascular health including lowering blood pressure and cholesterol.
