Easy Vegan Nutella {Paleo, Whole30}

For those who have tried nutella before, you know that it goes without saying that your fresh homemade batch will likely be disappearing overnight.  First timers, prepare yourself to fall in love — and to find ways of putting this decadent spread on anything and everything possible.  Of course that includes just a spoon too!

Britt B, the brilliant creatrix behind the plant-based blog The Banana Diaries, has made magic with this naturally sugar-free, Easy Vegan Nutella recipe.  Not only is this indulgent treat super simple and quick to make, but it’s perfect for almost everyone’s dietary needs whether you’re Gluten Free, Paleo, Vegan, or practicing the Whole30 Program.

Ingredients
Maca Powder
Shop Maca Powder
Cacao Powder
Shop Cacao Powder
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line hazelnuts on a baking sheet with tin foil.
  2. Roast hazelnuts in the oven for about 6 minutes, or until aromatic.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  4. Place into the food processor and pulse until it’s crumbs.
  5. Pause and add in the remaining ingredients.
  6. Blend until a smooth and creamy butter, scraping down sides as needed.
  7. Store in an airtight jar and keep in the refrigerator

Nutella is the perfect spread on top of toast, pancakes, or mixed into oatmeal.  It’s even great by the spoonful!  Enjoy!
