
These delicately delicious superfood truffles are the perfect bite of decadence that fuel you up with nutrients. Some call them energy balls, but they’re so good – we think of them as truffles. Caitlin Eberly of What Cait Ate created this simple recipe based on Cacao and Maca, two of our favorite superfoods known for energizing properties. These are easy to whip up and share with your friends and family!

Ingredients:
Base
- 10 pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp mineral salt (or pink Himalayan salt)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Imlak'esh Cacao Powder
- 2 tbsp Imlak'esh Maca Powder
Coatings
- Hemp Seeds
- Imlak'esh Cacao Powder
- Shredded Coconut
Directions:
- Add all ingredients into food processor and mix until well combined
- Remove and form into 1 inch balls
- Roll energy balls into coating of your choice
- Enjoy immediately or store in fridge for up to 2-3 weeks
