Easy Vegan Nutella {Paleo, Whole30}

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz raw hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup Imlak'esh Cacao Powder
  • 1/2 cup light coconut milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean seeds
  • 1 pinch sea salt optional
  • 1 pinch cinnamon optional
  • 1 tablespoon of Imlak'esh Maca Powder optional

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and line hazelnuts on a baking sheet with tin foil.
  2. Roast hazelnuts in the oven for about 6 minutes, or until aromatic.
  3. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  4. Place into the food processor and pulse until it's crumbs.
  5. Pause and add in the remaining ingredients.
  6. Blend until a smooth and creamy butter, scraping down sides as needed.
  7. Store in an airtight jar and keep in the refrigerator
Nutella is the perfect spread on top of toast, pancakes, or mixed into oatmeal.  It's even great by the spoonful!  Enjoy!
